Furniture Care

Furniture Frame. Wash frames with a mild soap and water solution, rinse with clean water and dry completely. Apply a non-abrasive automobile wax three or four times per year for the best protection against harmful ultraviolet and salt air exposure. Our durable powder coated aluminum frames can be safely cleaned as often as desired without worry.

Note: Some suntan and sun block products may be harmful to fabric cushions. Avoid allowing such products to come in contact with cushioned seating surfaces to avoid permanent stains, which are not covered under warranty.

Cushions & Umbrellas. If kept clean, our fabrics will not mildew. Unlike natural fibers, the characteristics of acrylic fibers will not support the growth of mildew. However, mildew can and will grow on any surface that is dirty, so we recommend keeping your fabric clean. For maintenance and light cleaning, brush off dirt. Add a quarter-cup of mild soap to a gallon of lukewarm water. Use a sponge or soft brush to apply the solution, allowing it to soak into fabric. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then air dry.

Removable umbrella and cushion slip covers may be machine washed in cold water using normal amounts of mild soap. Air dry. To spot-clean, spray with a mist of water and mild soap, then clean vigorously with a sponge, brush or clean towel. Rinse thoroughly in clean water, then air dry, blot or use a wet-vacuum. Repeat final steps until all soap residue is gone. To clean stubborn stains and/or mildew (except on printed acrylic fabrics), use 1/4 cup of mild soap per gallon of clean water (increase for severe stains). Soak affected area for 20 minutes before using sponge or clean towel to remove stain. Rinse well and air dry. Do not use chlorine-based cleaners.

Maintain your furniture by covering with furniture covers or storing out of the elements in an upright position when not in use. If using an umbrella with a patio table, close or completely remove your umbrella when not in use.
